Let M be a closed oriented surface immersed in R4 . Associated it one has the generalized Gauss map from M into the Grassmann manifold G 4,2 . This note will be concerned with the geometry of the generalized Gauss map by using the moving frame theory and the quaternion interpretation of Plcker coordinates. As one of consequences,we get the celebrated theorem of Chern and Spanier,Hoffman and Osserman,who proved it by quite different methods. We analyzed statistically the linear correlation of the solva-tochromic shifts of the stilbazolium-like dyes in the nonselected solvents with the reaction field function, L(εr) - bL( n2), and the solvent polarity parameter, ETN, respectively, and observed that there were not perfectly linearity relationships between them, so we introduced ETN into L(εr) - bL(n2) to form a new reaction field function, L(εr) - bL(n2) g ETN, called as the modified reaction field function, which can be perfectly linearly correlated with the solvatochromic shifts of the stilbazolium-like dyes in the nonselected solvents.  相似文献

The analytical expression for the complex amplitude of light reflected from a wedge-shaped thin film is derived. For plane wave incidence, a simple ray tracing approach is used to calculate Goos-H(a|¨)nchen (GH) shifts; and for non-plane wave incidence, for example, a Gaussian beam, the angular spectrum approach of plane wave is used in simulation. The frictionand wear characteristics of the surfa ce compound layer of W18Cr4V steel by combined treatment of ion nitrocarburizing-ion sulphurizing were investigated. The friction coefficient of the compound l ayer against GCr15 steel was determined witha block-ring friction tester. The wear test was carried out with a reciprocating wear tester. The worn surface was analyzedby scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The experimental results reveale d that the friction coefficient was lower for treatedW18Cr4V steel against GCr1 5 steel. The wear resistance of the compound layer was higher because the nitroc arbonide andthe sulphide in the compound layer were capable of friction-reduct ion and adhesion-inhibition.  相似文献
